Do legitimate paid surveys make you money?

Surveys are fast becoming one of the top ways on the internet to make a little extra money, and if you use the internet you will no doubt have seen adverts for paid surveys and you will probably have received emails promoting these surveys. But do legitimate surveys make you money?
In short yes they do – but probably not as much money as you might expect them to make you. If you are looking to quit your job and sit filling in surveys all day for money then you are going to be disappointed. Most of the legitimate paid surveys offer amounts between $0.20 - $5 to fill in surveys, this is reasonable compensation when you consider the amount of responses that are expected from paid surveys. However, as you can see, if you complete one or more legitimate paid surveys each week you will soon build up a nice amount of money on various sites.
There are a lot of legitimate paid surveys out there, it is just a matter of finding them. You could even type “legitimate paid surveys” into your search engine if you wish – it is entirely up to you.
If you are wondering how to spot legitimate paid surveys here are a few tips-
· Legitimate paid surveys will not ask you to pay to join them – surveys should pay you the money, not the other way round! After all the survey site should be paying you.
· The information you are asked on legitimate paid survey sites will not be for things such as bank account details (unless you are requesting a bank transfer of funds) when joining the site – if there are any questions that you feel uncomfortable with don not join the site!
· All legitimate paid surveys will be clear and concise in their requirements from you, you should not be asked to spend money in any way in order to be paid out from taking a survey, once again, if in doubt don’t do it.
· Legitimate paid surveys will let you know who is conducting the survey and should be sent to your personal email address with either your name or your user name at the top of the email. If you receive emails that appear to be from an unknown source be wary.
If you follow these few tips you will soon be able to spot which are the legitimate paid surveys and which are not. Everyone has been fooled from time to on the internet as many survey sites can be quite plausible on first inspection, but after a little probing seem suspicious. If you come across a site that is like this do not go any further, you are under no obligation whatsoever to join a site once you have entered it. Legitimate paid surveys are plentiful and if you spend some time joining different sites and seeing what they have to offer you will soon be benefiting from a little extra money every couple of months.
